The Refashion Renegades group began years ago with the idea of upcycling clothing. That still happens, but it has morphed into bringing whatever you want to sew or slow stitch. It’s open to anyone.
We meet the last Friday of each month, November thru May, at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 100 Mirror Lake Drive, St. Petersburg, across the street from Mirror Lake.
Parking is on the right hand side of the church. Turn into the alley, then turn right into parking lot behind the building next door, or, of course, any place else you can find around the church. Entry is in the front, thru the ramp door.
You may want to bring your lunch or a beverage. Bring all materials that you need to sew or bring handwork. If you bring a machine, bring an extension cord. We also recommend a small lamp or Ott Lite with an extension cord.
We are asking for a donation of $2-5 to cover the cost of the room. If you have any questions, contact, preferably by text, Karen Frank – 727-612-4546
