Fabrics to dye for

Time: 10-4 (bring lunch)
This is a basic fabric dyeing class using the low water immersion technique with Procion MX type dyes. We will create a basic 4 color gradation and a 12 step color wheel. We will also work on creating some fabulous textures by manipulating the fabric in different ways before dyeing.
I will supply all the dyes and fabrics you will need. Just bring the few following items:
Box or tub to transport wet fabric (should be leak proof)
Gloves
Face mask
Apron or work clothes
If you have any special fabric you wish to play with, go ahead and bring it. Just make sure it is a natural fiber---cotton, linen or silk.
