  One Screen Two Colors

 with

Linda Dawson

Linda Dawson will be facilitating the April workshop.  She will be demonstrating a technique designed by Jane Dunnewold which allows artists to silk screen with two colors using one screen.  This will be a self-contained workshop and no past experience with screening is necessary.  All participants will create a piece of cloth which could be used as created, used as a background for an art cloth, cut and used in a quilt top or used in a garment or hand bag, Participating artists need to bring protective gloves, an OSCA approved face mask for dust, protective clothing such as apron or big shirt and wear clothing that will not be ruined if dye gets spilled on it.  Workshop price includes fee to the art center, fabric, and all dye materials, use of one silk screen, and interfacing for stencil and house paint. Please note the time and date change!!!

Date:  Saturday, April 16, 2011    Time:  10:00 – 3:00, later if needed.  If you cannot get there until later, Linda will catch you up with the group.  Just let her know so

she can be prepared.
