January Guild Workshop – Resist Printing with Botanicals

Sunday, Jan 15  Indian Rocks Beach Art Center 1-4 pm

Make beautiful fabric images on silk with your locally sourced Florida plants, trees or shrubs. In this workshop you will be making 2 silk scarves to learn how plants and dyes make gorgeous tropical prints. This technique can be applied to larger works of art, such as art quilts, wall art or garment construction. What better way to use your local plants and have a lasting piece of wearable art? This class requires some standing and hand strength to complete the projects. The supply list for the workshop includes:

  • ***scarves or fabric should be 12” in width and no longer than 72”***
